Arrival
At McKinley, student supervision starts at 8:15 a.m. Therefore, students who arrive at school earlier than 8:15 a.m. will remain unsupervised unless their parents are present with them
On rainy days, we will open the gates at 8:15 am, and students will go to the MPR, where supervision will be set up for them. Parents are not allowed inside the MPR.
The warning bell will ring at 8:25 am to remind all families to start living on campus. At 8:30 am sharp, teachers will take students into their classrooms. Any student arriving after 8:30 am should go directly to the office to get a tardy slip before making their way to their classrooms. Parents will not be allowed to walk them to classrooms.
At 8:30 am, all site gates will be closed and not open again until dismissal. All families will need to leave before that.
Dismissal
Gates will open at dismissal, and families can come on campus to pick up their students. All families can enter through the North Yard gates to pick up their students. At that time, McKinley becomes an open campus and everyone can enjoy our facilities, following the same rules as during school hours, which are posted at each gate.
If you are picking up your student in the car line, remember not to leave your car at any time; students will be brought to the front quickly so they can be loaded into the cars. Remember to look and follow all the indications provided by the traffic guards on duty (wearing pink vests).

Salida
